About

Samsung Open Source Conference (SOSCON) is a yearly event where various experts share their knowledge and experiences with open source technology.

The very first SOSCON was held in South Korea in 2014, with the goal of increasing open source awareness among the local tech community. Since then, SOSCON has spread to other Samsung Global Research Centers that now host the event annually within their own localities. The Philippines was added to the global SOSCON roster in 2022, joining India (2020) and Russia (2021).
